Amazon Prime Day!

So it goes without saying that today is Amazon Prime Day. A day where everyone who has a Prime account with Amazon can grab some great deals on items that they need or have been eyeing. So, I figured I’d get on board and highlight my top picks.

It’s worth noting that other retailers are also offering great deals this week. Old Navy currently has a 50% off store-wide sale; The Gap also has an up to 50% off sale; Williams Sonoma is having a 20% off Friends and Family event; if you’re Canadian the Bay is having a massive spend more save more event; H&M is having an up to 70% off summer styles event; Target is having an up to 30% off Deal Days event; and, coming up, Nordstrom will be having their Anniversary Sale from July 19-Aug 4.

Amazon Prime Day Deals

AmazonBasics Dutch Oven

This is just a basic dutch oven from Amazon Basics. I have a similar one from KitchenAid that I use constantly. It’s great because it’s so versatile – going from stove-top to oven. Plus, the price is great!

AmazonBasics cast-iron skillet

Dan cannot get enough of our cast-iron skillet. What started off as an obsession over cornbread has turned into us using it to sear and cook our steaks. Just like the dutch oven, this skillet can go from stove-top to oven without creating a tonne of mess.

AmazonBasics Silicone baking mat

If you’re big into baking, these silicone baking mats are great. Cookies and other baked goods don’t stick to the pan and they are reusable, which is great for the environment and your wallet.

Ninja Blender

I have never actually used this blender, but the reviews on Amazon seem pretty good. Also, I hear people raving about Ninja blenders, so I figured I’d include it. Plus, it’s 30% off!

KitchenAid Stand Mixer

Now, I have used this Artisan stand mixer from KitchenAid. We received it as a wedding present and I am constantly using it to make Dan homemade pasta and pizza dough. I also have the KitchenAid hand-mixer, but the stand-mixer is just way easier to use, plus it allows you to add attachments. Think, food processors, meat grinders, pasta rollers, etc.
